Implimentation Appraoch for Secure Web Application by Different Prevention Stratergies
Abstract: The World Wide Web (WWW) is delivering a broad range of sophisticated web applications for business, net banking, online shopping etc., However, many web applications go through fast development phases with short time, making it difficult to eliminate vulnerabilities. This kind of Web applications are target of hackers. From an application point of view, vulnerability identification are critical and often over looked as a source of risk. OWASP develop tools and best practices to support developers in the development and operation of secure web applications. According to OWASP, Web applications vulnerable to attacks such as SQL injection and Cross-Site Scripting, Cross Site Request Forgery, Broken Authentication and Session management as mention below. In this paper we focus mainly on some of the security risks listed by OWASP top ten, such as Cross-site scripting, Cross-site request forgery, Authorization, as well as client side Validations. For the realization of this paper, the new security framework helps to make the applications more secure against these risks. In this paper we are implementing identification of vulnerabilities of web application i.e., SQLI, CSRF, XSS and Broken Authentication and session management, Insecure Cryptographic Storage, Insecure Direct Object References, Failure to Restrict URL Access, Unvalidated Redirects and Forwards etc., to find out their prevention strategies over existing web application. The main objective of this paper is to create a secure web application that provide security when user is login or while user is logged on. Web application must be secure from the attacks that are listed in above section and show how these attacks are used to compromise user identity and credentials. In this paper we are proposing a framework for building secure and anti-theft web applications that must be secure from above listed attacks by improving existing web prevention techniques.

An Interactive Content Development for Algorithm based Subjects in Engineering using Android
Abstract: A software android application for algorithm based subjects in engineering features the visualization of commonly used algorithms in Data Structures and Design and Analysis of Algorithm. Various operations on stack, queue, list etc like insertion, deletion etc are introduced. In addition, this software can be used to animate various algorithms of searching, sorting, and operations on stack, queue etc. However, many students find difficulty to study the core subjects like Advanced C Concepts, Data Structure and Design & Analysis of Algorithms because it requires abstract thinking. It would be very helpful if there will be visualization tool of data structures such as arrays, queues, stacks, trees and graphs for students to experiment with. The tool would allow students to see how an element is inserted into or deleted from different data structures, how a tree is traversed in different order (pre-order, in-order, post-order, level-order), etc. i.e. Simulation Technique. By using animation, it is possible to teach particular subject to the student in interesting & easier way.

An Automated Model to Observer Attendance Performance and Retention of theFirst Year Qatar University Students
Abstract: This article focuses on attendance, performance and retention of first year students of Math and Computer Department at the Foundation Program, Qatar University. A strategy has been developed to monitor attendance, performance and retention the students. To capture and analyse the data, a Monitoring system has developed and reported in this paper. Whenever student shows signs of absence with the poor performance then the Monitoring System start showing consequences with the aim of providing support for student at risk of failure or withdrawal at the early stage. Therefore, an intervention strategy assists to improve in attendance and performance with the dialogue among faculty, admin staff and students who are experiencing difficulties. The students physical attendance are most important factor to understand the learning material, to improve critical thinking and to elucidate problem solving based questions which leads to academic achievements in the research, learning system and to develop a knowledge base society. Data of each student is entered by the teacher in the Monitoring System from the day one of their classes. This Monitoring system is developed using Oracle and Java to cater both presence of students and their achievements. Many faculties from Math and Computer department of Qatar University provided feedback to develop the system and still reinforce the on-going improvement. The developed Monitoring system is highly user friendly and easy to access within the university intranet. There are several reports that can be generating from the academic coordinator, HOD and system manager which give invaluable information about the students‟ and teachers‟ commitments. The attendance data can only be entered in the campus through intranet during the class hours which reduces the chance of errors, manipulations and biasness. If the teacher is unable to enter data then he/she has to explain the reasons for delay in entering data. Student can also monitor their earlier attendance percentage and outcome of the each result and can discuss if any discrepancy. This paper is very interesting to other tutors who want to use electronic attendance, control performance in each step and follow up students at risk. The research found that attendance are highly correlated with the student overall academic performance and retention of the student.

Design and Analysis of High Performance FIR Filter using MAC Unit
Abstract: The filter whose response to the impulse signal is bounded, popularly known to be the Finite Impulse Response Filter, (shortly an FIR filter) is an important component for designing an efficient digital signal processing system. In different DSP applications FIR filters are widely used. Many applications in digital communication uses the techniques for power reduction are developed particularly in, words processing involving adaptive sound cancelation, seismic signal handing out (noise cancelation), requires large order FIR filters for many other synthesis operations of signal. So, an FIR filter is being constructed, which is efficient in terms of power. Here, the new implementing approach was adopted by the adder and multiplier for designing of FIR filter. The multiplier used is Modified Wallace Multiplier, will reduce the number of partial products. The Carry skip (carry by pass) adder attenuates the unwanted addition and thereby lessening the dissipations of switching power. This paper presents an efficient implementation and analysis for performance evaluation of multiplier and adder to minimize the consumption of power during multiplication and addition by comparing with different adders and multipliers. The proposed design has compact power and improved performance when compared with the proposed FIR filter with comprises of conventional FIR filter. This work evaluates performance of FIR filter in terms of speed and power and synthesis are executed in Xilinx FPGA environment. The result analysis shows that the proposed FIR filter consumes low power than conventional FIR Filter.

Motion Estimation Testing Applications using Error Detection and Data Recovery Architecture
Abstract: This paper presents an error detection and data recovery (EDDR) design, based on the residue-and-quotient (RQ) code, to embed into motion estimation (ME) for video coding testing applications. An error in processing elements (PEs), i.e. key components of a ME, can be detected and recovered effectively by using the EDDR design. The proposed EDDR design for ME testing can detect errors and recover data with an acceptable area overhead and timing penalty. The functional verification and synthesis can be done by Xilinx ISE. That is when compare to the existing design the implemented design area and timing will be reduced..

Performance Analysis of 2D DCT for Ultra High Definition Video Coding
Abstract: Data compression is the reduction or elimination of redundancy in data representation in order to achieve savings in storage and communication costs. Data compression techniques can be broadly classified into two categories: Lossless, Lossy schemes. In lossless methods, the exact original data can be recovered while in lossy schemes a close approximation of the original data can be obtained. The lossless method is also called entropy coding schemes since there is no loss of information content during the process of compression. Digital images require an enormous amount of space for storage. This work is to design VLSI architecture for the JPEG Baseline Image Compression Standard. The architecture exploits the principles of pipelining and parallelism to the maximum extent in order to obtain high speed the architecture for discrete cosine transforms and the entropy encoder are based on efficient algorithms designed for high speed VLSI. In recent years, a working group known as Joint Photographic Expert Group (JPEG) has defined an international standard for coding and compression of continuous tone still images. This standard is commonly referred to as the JPEG standard. Two dimensional DCT takes important role in compression. Architecture and VERILOG design of 2-D DCT, combined with quantization and zig-zag arrangement, is implemented in this project. DCT calculation used in this project is made using scaled DCT. The output of DCT module needs to be multiplied with post-scaler value to get the real DCT coefficients. Post-scaling process is done together with quantization process. 2-D DCT is computed by combining two 1-D DCT that connected by a transpose buffer. In this project the Modelsim is used for simulation.

An Efficient Implementation of Carry Select Adder with Low Power and Area Efficient Characteristics
Abstract: The CSLA is used in many computational systems to alleviate the problem of carry propagation delay by independently generating multiple carries and then select a carry to generate the sum . However, the CSLA is not area efficient because it uses multiple pairs of Ripple Carry Adders (RCA) to generate partial sum and carry by considering carry input , then the final sum and carry are selected by the multiplexers (mux). The basic idea of this work is to use Binary to Excess-1 Converter (BEC) instead of RCA in the regular CSLA to achieve high speed and low power consumption.

Effectual Routing in Wireless Sensor Networks- a Review
Abstract: A wireless sensor network is an enormous assortment of sensor nodes with inadequate power supply and self-conscious computational competence. Due to the circumscribed communication range and high density of sensor nodes, packet dispatching in sensor networks is usually performed through multi-hop data transmission. For that reason, routing in wireless sensor networks has been deliberated as an imperative field of research over the past decade. These days, multipath routing techniques is widely used in wireless sensor networks to improve network performance over and done with efficient utilization of accessible network resources. Consequently, the main intention of this review is to present the conception of the various routing approaches and its fundamental experiments, as well as the basic motivations for exploiting these techniques in wireless sensor networks. Routing procedures for WSNs are responsible for selecting and maintaining the routes in the network and ensure reliable and effective communication in inadequate periods. The energy constriction of WSNs make energy saving become the most significant objective of various routing algorithms. In this paper, a review of routing protocols and algorithms used in WSNs is presented with energy efficiency as the main goalmouth.

Conditional Clocking Flip-Flop for Low Power High-Speed Mobile Application SOC
Abstract: An extremely low-power flip-flop named topologically-compressed flip-flop is planned. As compared with standard FFs, the FF reduces power dissipation by seventy fifth at 1/3 information activity. This power reduction magnitude relation is that the highest among FFs that are reported thus far. The reduction is achieved by applying topological compression methodology, merger of logically equivalent transistors to associate unconventional latch structure. The terribly little variety of transistors, only three, connected to clock signal reduces the facility drastically, and therefore the smaller total transistor count assures identical cell space as standard FFs. In addition, absolutely static full-swing operation makes the cell tolerant of provide voltage and input slew variation. associate experimental chip design with forty nm CMOS technology shows that nearly all standard FFs are replaceable with planned FF whereas protective the same system performance and layout space.

Contemplating Audio Secret Sharing Schemes
Abstract: The methodology of secret sharing involves the ownership of the key by the dealer which would give access to the original secret that has been divided into shares. This concept has been applied similarly onto an audio message that has to be conveyed over a network. The Audio Data is divided into multiple shares which would be collated later on in order to get the original audio message. The failure to meet the condition would render the entire message useless that is to say that all the shares are essential for the reconstruction of the original audio message. The intent of this paper is to study and analyse the audio secret sharing schemes. The comparative analysis of different audio secret sharing schemes that have been proposed in the past has been put forth.

Secure and Dynamic On-Demand Access to Distributed Information through Information Brokering System
Abstract: Distributed information systems emerged as solution for the needs of enterprises that share information via on-demand access. Information Brokering Systems (IBSs) came into existence to leverage usefulness of sharing information among organizations. The IBS is responsible to integrate loosely coupled systems forming a brokering overlay. The existing IBSs believe that the brokers are trusted and data can be shared through them confidently. However, adversaries can infer information from the metadata available. This is the problem to be addressed. Recently Li et al. proposed an approach for privacy preserving information brokering. They focused two kinds of privacy attacks namely inference attack and attribute-correlation attack. They also proposed two solutions for preventing these attacks. They are query segment encryption and automaton segmentation respectively. With insignificant overhead, their approach provides system-wide security. In this paper, we implemented privacy preserving on-demand access to distributed information brokering system. We built a prototype application that demonstrates the proof of concept.

Testability Measurement Framework Design Phase Perspective
Abstract: Measuring testability early in the development life cycle considerably reduces the overall development cost, effort and rework. It is very expensive and error prone decision to correct the design to get better testability after the coding has started.
This paper proposes a testability measurement framework for object oriented software concerning at design phase. This framework correlates the testability factor with object oriented design properties and also correlates design properties with object oriented design metrics. No such framework has been presented in the literature that accurately measure testability of object oriented software taking design phase into consideration. The proposed framework reduces the gap between object oriented design properties, metrics and testability. This framework measures effort in measuring testability of object oriented software early at design phase and makes it possible to produce reliable end product within time and budget.

Long Transmission Range Performance Evaluation on RI-MAC protocol in Wireless Sensor Networks
Abstract: In this paper, we are evaluating the performance receiver-initiated MAC (RI-MAC) protocol in long transmission range application focuses on the extended transmission range from 250m to 850m in wireless sensor nodes(WSN) using computer simulation. The reason to extend the transmission range is to apply the WSN in wider coverage with lower node density to achieve cost effectiveness, such as in the random networks. From the results obtained, that the maximum transmission range of WSN is less than 650m. The significant of this paper is to highlight the limitation of the current protocol when transmission range is extended to 850m, hence justifying the need to enhance the existing protocol for long transmission range application in WSN.

Impending Form Interpretations for Delay to Ramp and Step Input On-Chip VLSI RLC Annex
Abstract: In a high speed digital integrated circuit, annex delay can be momentous and hold for factual exploration by using moments of impulse response delay exploration has been done. Elmore delay is (the first moment of impulse response) interpretation, to moment matching approach which establish reduced order trans-impedance and transfer function approximations. The elmore delay is swift becoming inadequate for deep submicron technologies and reduced order transfer function delays are un-functional for use as early phase design matrices. This paper interpret access for fitting moments of the impulse response to probability density function, so that delay can be appraisal factually for RLC trees, it is a demonstrated that inverse gamma function provides a provable stable approximation. For prolong delay matrices for ramp inputs to the more general and realistic non-step input, we use PERI (probability distribution function extension for ramp input) technology. Extraction of Grayscale Brain Tumor in Magnetic Resonance Image
Abstract: Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) has great contribution in diagnosis and treatment of brain tumor. Segmentation of grayscale tumor or low intensity tumor is the most important and challenging task. In this paper, we propose a method to extract grayscale tumor from MRI image. Due to low intensity profile of input image, global contrast enhancement method is applied as a pre-processing step. This enhanced grayscale image is converted into binary image. Further, algorithm segments largest connected region using mathematical morphological and segmentation methods. At last, tumor region is extracted using resultant image and input MRI image. Experimental results show the proposed method effectively extracts a grayscale brain tumor from MRI images.

Dual-Tree DWT based turbulence mitigation in visual surveillance
Abstract: A long-distance imaging system can be strongly affected by atmospheric turbulence. In this paper, we propose a novel method for mitigating the effects of atmospheric distortion on observed images, particularly airborne turbulence which can severely degrade a region of interest (ROI). In order to extract accurate detail about objects behind the distorting layer, a simple and efficient frame selection method is proposed to select informative ROIs only from good quality frames. The ROIs in each frame are then registered to further reduce offsets and distortions. We solve the space-varying distortion problem using region-level fusion based on the dual tree complex wavelet transform. Finally, contrast enhancement is applied. We further propose a learning-based metric specifically for image quality assessment in the presence of atmospheric distortion. This is capable of estimating quality in both full and no-reference scenarios. The proposed method is shown to significantly outperform existing methods, providing enhanced situational awareness in a range of surveillance scenarios.

Implementation of Attendance Management System using SMART-FR
Abstract: Attendance Management System (AMS) is the easiest way to keep track of attendance for community organizations such as school clubs, scouting units, church groups, business organizations and volunteer groups. Among the person identification methods, face recognition is known to be the most natural ones, since the face modality is the modality that uses to identify people in everyday lives. Although other methods, such as fingerprint identification can provide better performance, those are not appropriate for natural smart interactions due to their intrusive nature. This face detection differentiates faces from non-faces and is therefore essential for accurate attendance. The other strategy involves face recognition for marking the student’s attendance. The Raspberry pi module is used for face detection & recognition. The camera will be connected to the Raspberry pi module. The student database is collected. The database includes name of the students, there images & roll number. This raspberry pi module will be installed at the front side of class in such a way that we can capture entire class. Thus with the help of this system, time will be saved. With the help of this system, it is so convenient to record attendance. We can take attendance on any time. And the details of the student will be sent to the corresponding department and their parents using GSM technology.

Secure Path Selection Using SAODV in Wireless Ad Hoc Network
Abstract: Due to the raising dependence of people on critical applications and wireless networks, high level of reliability, security and availability is claimed to assure secure and reliable service operation. Wireless ad hoc networks (WANETs) experience serious security issues even when solutions employ preventive or reactive security mechanisms. In order to support both network operations and security requirements of critical applications, we present SAMNAR, a Survivable Ad hoc and Mesh Network ARchitecture. Its goal lies in managing adaptively preventive, reactive and tolerant security mechanisms to provide essential services even under attacks, intrusions or failures. We use SAMNAR to design a path selection scheme for WANET routing. The evaluation of this path selection scheme considers scenarios using urban mesh network mobility with urban propagation models, and also random way point mobility with two-ray ground propagation models. Results show the survivability achieved on routing service under different conditions and attacks.

Keyphrase Extraction using supervise learning
Abstract: Text mining is knowledge intensive process in which a user communicates with a collection of documents. Text categorization is a kind of “supervised” learning where the categories are known beforehand and determined in advance for each training document. Manually extraction of keywords is slow, expensive and tedious. Therefore automatic keyword extraction is necessary. Keyphrases help the users to get idea about the content of document. Kea- means clustering used for extracting test document from large quantity of text data. In Kea-means algorithm, documents are clustered into several groups like K-means, but the number of clusters is determined automatically by using the extracted keyphrases. Set of training documents and machine learning is used to determine phrases are keyphrase or not.

An Overview of Node Auto-configuration Protocols in Mobile Ad hoc Network
Abstract: Mobile Ad hoc Network (MANET) is a self organizing network in which mobile devices communicates with each other via wireless links. For unicast communication each node must have a unique IP Address. But In MANET, there is no any fixed infrastructure unlike in wired network. Mobile devices are free to join or leave the network. There is no any central server to assign unique IP Address to each node. Therefore, a protocol is needed which will assign unique IP Address to each node in a dynamic way. In this paper we will discuss different Node Auto-configuration protocols which will assign unique IP Address to each node.

A Generic Pattern Matching Approach for Multiple Events
Abstract: Data mining is a highly evolving and developing frontier in data and information systems and their applications. Its a concept of extracting data from large data set and converts into understandable format. Automated prospective analysis and knowledge driven decisions make data more proactive. Pattern matching used for control flow of patterns, checks similarity between already stored templates with input template. Patterns are procedure for converting input data. The existing system pay-as-you-go style matching technique has poor discriminative feature were this technique depend mainly on time. So it will affect 1: n matching for events and when matching events with heterogeneous data it may result in duplication of data. In proposed system, as Generic Pattern Matching technique implies to validate similarity between two events. Number of events internally stores and maintains all the characteristics of events. Patterns are compared with all stored patterns with in the data set. Pattern matching enhances several events to improve the performance and efficiency of events. This is independent of time so 1 : n issue can be sorted out. It will also retrieve exact result without any approximate value.

A Survey on k-Anonymity Generalization Algorithms
Abstract: The issue of data privacy is at the forefront of everybody’s mind. Media commercials advertise security merchandise and news programs oftentimes describe the most recent knowledge breach. Public perception aside, any organization incorporates a legal obligation to make sure that the privacy of their workers is protected. Laws compel some knowledge from being employed for secondary reasons aside from the aim that it absolutely was originally collected. We can’t collect data on the health of your workers. Also, we can’t share sure knowledge with third parties. Within the world of cloud computing, we currently have a third party operational and managing our infrastructure. By it’s terribly nature, that supplier can have access to our data. Hence data anonymity techniques are used to share the public data such as medical records by preserving the data privacy. In this paper we discuss on various the k-anonymity generalization algorithms used for privacy preserving.

A Comprehensive Survey on Image Search Using Binary Hash Codes
Abstract: Effective content based Image Search based on hash codes is a very acceptable for efficient similarity search, due to its query time and storage efficiency. In binary hashing technique, first the high-dimensional visual features are extracted from images, then these extracted features are embedded into Hamming space and the distance or similarity of two points are approximately calculated by the Hamming distance between their binary codes. Though the Hamming distance calculation is efficient in practice, a query result is ambiguous as it returns multiple results sharing the same Hamming distance and poses a critical issue for similarity search where ranking is important. This paper presents a survey of various states-of-the-art- hashing techniques that allows faster visual similarity search in hamming space. And also discussed concept of weighted Hamming distance, which improve ranking performance of binary hash code so that result images can be ranked at fined grained level.

Abstract: The high speed conversions are needed in the faster analog -to-digital converters. The accuracy of comparators is defined by its power consumption and speed. Many high speed ADCs, such as flash ADCs, require High speed, Low power comparators with small chip area. Conventional dynamic latched comparators suffer from low supply voltages especially when threshold voltage of the devices is not scaled at the same pace as the supply voltages of the modern CMOS process. The proposed comparator System has lower input-referred latch offset voltage and higher load drivability than the conventional dynamic latched comparators. In the dynamic Double tail comparator the simulation in a CMOS technology. In the Proposed dynamic Double tail comparator System both the power consumption and delay time will be significantly reduced. A Tool for String Transformation Enabling Flexibility in Real World Applications
Abstract: String is a sequence of characters whose manipulations have many real world utilities. Especially transforming a string from given input to various outputs has very important use in applications like bioinformatics, information retrieval, data mining and natural language processing. When an input string is given, the output has to be generated as multiple strings that can be used for solving problems such as query reformulation, correction of errors and so on. Recently Wang et al. proposed a probabilistic approach to string transformation. They proposed an algorithm for obtaining top-k candidates, a training model and log linear model for achieving string transformation which proved to be efficient and accurate. In this paper, we built an application, a prototype that can demonstrate the concept of string transformation. The experimental results reveal that the tool is useful in string transformation which can be used further in applications pertaining to error correction and query reformulation in online web search.

Abstract: Phased arrays are a form of steerable antenna whose performance motivates the development of alternative structures which allow us to obtain simplified designs as powerful as the original approach but significantly cheaper. A System based design of phased array antenna using Advanced Design System is employed in ISM (The Industrial, Scientific and Medical) frequency range. Array antennas are used extensively in remote sensing applications, where a highly directive beam is needed to scan a particular area of interest on the surface of the earth. The study focuses on the design of different microstrip patch antenna arrays to be used in environmental sensing applications in the ISM frequency bands. Arrays of microstrip patches are easily printed on substrates using photolithography techniques and can be mass produced at cheap costs. In this paper we have implemented two types of array model using rectangular patch. Specifically, 1X2 and 2X2. This study includes design of feedback network, impedance matching, and return loss calculation. The substrate used is FR4 with dielectric constant of 4.6 and thickness about 1.6mm. The feed network is designed and optimized using ADS 2013 and then integrated with the array.

Literature Review on Transferring Video Using Watermark
Abstract: The rapid growth of network distributions of images and video, there is a need for copyright protection against piracy. For this purpose we are using video watermarking. Different digital watermarking schemes have been proposed to address this issue of ownership identification. Digital watermarking is a process by which user specified signal (Watermark) is hidden or embedded into another signal (Video Signal) by the watermark embedding process. Afterwards the recovery of the watermark is achieved with the help of the watermark extraction process. The video watermark is robust against the attack of frame dropping, averaging and statistical analysis. It leads to broad curiosity in multimedia security and multimedia copyright protection. The most important issue in video watermarking is the invisibility of the watermark and the resilience of watermarking to attacks. Watermarking techniques are classified into three categories. They are Spatial Domain Method (SDM), Transform Domain Method (TDM) and Compressed Domain Method (CDM). Here explained about to transform domain method. This method used the discrete cosine transform (DCT), Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) and Discrete Wavelet Transform (DWT) for watermark embedding.DWT are more popularity due to their spatial localization, frequency spread etc.. But DCT watermarking was to human perception model to modify low coefficients of DCT blocks. It has a larger embedding capacity and robustness. This technique provides better results with high accuracy.

Abstract: We present a novel Ordered Distance Vector (ODV) based Equi-begin with Variable-diversity (EV) Technique for the exact solution of a variation of the vehicle routing problem with time windows in which the transportation fleet is made by vehicles with different capacities and fixed costs, based on different depots. The Multi- Depot Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Windows (MDVRPTW) is a generalization of the standard Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP). The VRPTW is NP-Complete. The MDVRPTW problem is addressed using an efficient Genetic Algorithm (GA). Genetic algorithm is a powerful optimization technique to solve NP-Complete problems. In GA different initial population seeding techniques were used to find out the performance of an individual. In this paper, we are analyzing the performance of Gene Bank technique with a proposed novel Ordered Distance Vector (ODV) based EV Technique in terms of convergence rate (%), quality solution and convergence diversity. Different authors provided different bench mark instances for MDVRPTW in neo research group. A Survey on Secure Packet Transmission against Vampire Attack in Wireless Ad-hoc Sensor Networks
Abstract: A wireless sensor network is a class of transducers which is used to monitor and record the conditions of a wireless environment. Denial of service is one of the common attacks in the wireless sensor network. Vampire attack is a kind of denial of service which consumes energy that leads to draining battery-life of the nodes in the network. Since the nodes are battery powered, the network lifetime is minimized. So communication between nodes cannot be made properly and also the packet does not reach the destination during transmission. This attack can be done by either extending the path of nodes or it may form a loop in packet transmission route. In this paper, we present various algorithms on secure packet transmission against vampire attack. This survey gives different algorithms to overcome the vampire attack and provide secure packet transmission in wireless ad-hoc sensor networks.

How to Measure Business Value of Information Systems? Practical Implications of a Literature Review
Abstract: In 2014 IT spending reaches 3,75 billion USD according to Gartner’s forecast, while this years Standish Group report shows that 31% of projects will be cancelled before completion. These facts and the tightening of corporate budgets highlight the importance of IT valuation ex ante and ex post as well. This paper presents an overview of normative research on IT business valuation, while trying to stress practical conclusions supporting future management practice. Research suggests that the concurrent use of the discounted cash flow and real option methodologies can effectively support decisions as they can mutually offset each other’s weaknesses, i.e. DCF’s inflexibility and lack of strategic focus and ROA’s complexity and lack of communicability. Also we conclude that the principal function of ex ante IT valuation lies not so much in determining an exact value as in identifying the key factors of value creation, thus support supporting management during implementation and use.

Design of Boostable Repeater for VLSI Interconnects
Abstract: In the era of Nanometer technology variation of process aging of circuits cause vulnerable to establish circuits with the characteristics of adapting themselves and thereby a chance to compensate changes with the proposed one. Aging of circuitry and variations in process are main problems to analyze the efficiency of power circuit interconnects as a adaptability of power requirements must be assigned to drastic timing variations. The allocated design time implies uniform consumption of power on several fabricated chips, even of many circuit instances do not have considerable changes. This proposed design produces an efficient approach for power to tolerance variations. Hence it uses only power when the variation circumstances of a chip circuit instance are being harmful. The proposed is an effective work towards adaptation of power supply voltage for changing resilience in VLSI chips. This proposed is a repetition based boostable design that can unanimously raise its internal potential rail to increase circuit switching speed. This Modality can be either ON/OFF to compatible power fluctuations. This repetition based boostable design enhances fine scaling voltage adaptation with voltage regulators. Since inter connections of a circuit is a widely available cause in chip performance and several repeaters are provided an IC designs, this repetition based boostable circuit has large number of tips to improve system performance.

A Simulation Study on Scalable Key Management Scheme for WSN
Abstract: WSN is sensitive to attacks as it is resource constrained. Network scalability is one of the concerns with respect to-secure key management schemes. Recently Bechkit et al. proposed a key pre-distribution scheme for WSN which is scalable and provides secure connectivity among nodes in WSN. They used unital design theory for key pre- distribution. Network connectivity, network resiliency, network scalability and storage overhead were the parameters used for the experiments. Influenced by those techniques, in this paper we build a prototype application, a custom simulator that demonstrates the proof of concept. The simulation involves the transmission mechanisms at sender, receiver besides the communication visualization as part of routing process. We made experiments with simulations. Our empirical study reveals that the proposed application is able to demonstrate the secure key pre-distribution process. In future it can be used to implement key pre-distribution scheme in the real world WSN applications.

A Simulation Study of Outsourcing of Audit Service for Data Integrity in Cloud Computing
Abstract: Cloud computing technology enables data owners to outsource data and relieve from the burden of maintaining computing resources. This is possible as cloud provides platform independent, location independent, scalable and low-cost storage services. With virtualization technology, the cloud computing is made affordable. However, when data owners do not have physical possession of data, they need rely on security of cloud service providers completely. Integrity of their data is an important concern. Audit services that can ensure data integrity are essential. Many techniques came into existence in the recent past. Recently Zhu et al. presented Provable Data Possession (PDP) based interactive protocol for ensuring integrity of outsourced data. Based on this technique, in this paper we built a prototype application that demonstrates the proof of concept. The proposed application simulates the cloud environment where the audit service is provided for data integrity. The empirical results reveal that the application provides secure access to cloud services and provide data integrity.

Analysis of Query Using Join and Semi-join
Abstract: Database is the collection of files or table and Database Management System is used to manage the overall activities of the database. We have two approaches for storing and managing database namely Centralised Database management system and Distributed Database management system. Query Processing and its optimization is one of the major key areas of Distributed Database Systems. Query optimization is much more difficult in Distributed Database as compared to the Centralised Database System. This literature review paper is based in the query optimization in Distributed Database System. It mainly focused on to analyse the performance and behaviour of the use of semi-joins and joins. Various factors are considered like CPU cost, I/O cost, Total Cost, Response time and Total time etc. Minimizing the amount of data transmission is important to reduce the query processing cost. To minimize this communication cost, the exhaustive enumerative technique has used to bring dynamism in determining the sub operations (join or semi join) to various sites.

Enhanced routing performance and overhead in Mobile Ad-hoc network for big data Transmission in Telemedicine using computer communication network
Abstract: Due to high mobility of nodes in mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs), there exist frequent link breakages which lead to frequent path failures and route discoveries. The overhead of a route discovery cannot be neglected. In a route discovery, broadcasting is a fundamental and effective data dissemination mechanism, where a mobile node blindly rebroadcasts the first received route request packets unless it has a route to the destination, and thus it causes the broadcast storm problem. [1 to 3]. In this paper, we propose a neighbor coverage-based probabilistic rebroadcast protocol for reducing routing overhead in MANETs. In order to effectively exploit the neighbor coverage knowledge, we propose a novel rebroadcast delay to determine the rebroadcast order, and then we can obtain the more accurate additional coverage ratio by sensing neighbor coverage knowledge.[4] We also define a connectivity factor to provide the node density adaptation. By combining the additional coverage ratio and connectivity factor, we set a reasonable rebroadcast probability. Our approach combines the advantages of the neighbor coverage knowledge and the probabilistic mechanism, which can significantly decrease the number of retransmissions so as to reduce the routing overhead, and can also improve the routing performance.

Study on Sinkhole Attack Detection in Wireless AdHoc Networks
Abstract: Wireless ad hoc network is a collection of wireless mobile nodes that dynamically self-organize in arbitrary and temporary network topologies. As compared to conventional network, wireless ad hoc network are more vulnerable to the security attacks. The nature and structure of wireless ad hoc network makes it very attractive to attackers, because there is no fixed infrastructure and administrative approach in it. “Sinkhole attack” is one of the severe attacks in this type of network; this makes trustable nodes to malicious nodes that result in loss of secure information. This paper focuses on sinkhole attacks on routing protocols such as DSR, AODV. To overcome the problems occur due to sinkhole we discuss about Security-aware routing (SAR) which helps to reduce the impact of such attack.
