Artificial Intelligence and its Applications

Abstract: Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a branch of computer science concerned with systems that perform tasks associated with human intelligence, including learning, reasoning, perception, language processing, pattern recognition, and decision support. AI is increasingly used in healthcare, education, finance, agriculture, transportation, manufacturing, cybersecurity, and customer service. This paper presents a conceptual, literature-based overview of major AI techniques and their applications. It discusses machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, computer vision, neural networks, and knowledge-based systems, and outlines a general workflow for selecting, developing, evaluating, and responsibly using AI solutions. The discussion highlights the importance of data quality, appropriate evaluation, privacy, fairness, security, transparency, and human oversight. This is a review paper; no original experimental results are claimed.
