Abstract: This research delves into the intricacies of implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI)technologies within Management Information Systems (MIS) by County Governments in Kenya. The study aims to investigate the challenges and barriers that organizations encounter during the process of integrating AI technologies within their MIS. By examining the specific impediments that hinder the smooth integration of these advanced technologies, the study aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the factors that influence the adoption landscape. Through quantitative methodologies, the research sought to contribute to a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding AI implementation within MIS in the County Governments in Kenya.
